Member Virtual Lunch & Learn: Step Inside Washington’s Field Headquarters

What does it take to protect the Commander in Chief? Members are invited for a virtual tour on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 12-1 p.m., inside Washington’s field headquarters to find out! In this interactive event, Members will learn what life was like on campaign for General George Washington’s Life Guard, get to know the people in Washington’s inner circle, and examine how the tent became a symbol of Washington’s republican leadership. Along the way, Members will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the Museum’s initiatives to engage K-12 audiences nationwide.

• The Philadelphia Parking Authority Olde City garage, entrance at 125 S 2nd St., is $14 for up to three hours of parking.

Metered street parking is also an option (no discount provided). Please be aware of the posted rules for street parking, as they vary by day of the week and time of day.
